Bread Pakoda in Whole wheat bread

Recipe: Bread Pakoda/ Bread Fitters - whole wheat Bread. 

Ingredients for pakoda filling: 

1) Whole wheat bread - as required

2) Boiled Potatoes - 3 large 

3) Coriander/Dhaniya powder - 2tsp 

4) Cumin/Jeera powder - 2tsp

5) Ajwain seeds - 2tsp 

6) Red chilli powder - 2tsp

7) Ginger garlic paste -2tsp  

8) Grated cheese -1 cup

9) Coriander leaves - as required

10) Salt to taste 


Ingredients for Pakoda Batter: 

1) Gram flour - 4tbsp

2) Rice flour - 3tbsp

3) Turmeric - 2tsp

4) Salt - 1.5tsp 

5) Baking Soda - 1tsp

6) Garam masala - Pinch


Preparation Method:

1) First take a bowl, add the boiled potatoes. 

2) Add all the spices - dhaniya & jeera powder, ajwain seeds, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, grated cheese, coriander leaves & salt to taste. (As shown in my video) 

3) Mix it well mashing the potatoes along with all the spices. (As shown in the Video) 

4) Now take another bowl for making the batter for pakoda. 

5) Add gram flour/besan, rice flour, turmeric powder, salt, baking soda & sprinkle some Garam masala (As shown in the video) 

6) Add some chopped coriander leaves to the batter as well & mix it well. 

7) Add water in small batches making sure the batter is slightly thick but flowing consistency. (As shown in my video) 

8) Next, take two slices of bread, add the stuffing on one slice. (I've used wheat bread you can use any) 

9) Cover it with the other slice of bread and cut it into half (diagonally) (As shown in the Video) 

10) Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying the stuffed bread. 

11) Coat the bread triangle in the batter and drop it slowly into the hot oil. 

12) Fry untill it turns golden brown, on medium heat. 

13) The hot and crispy bread pakoda is perfectly done. (As shown in the video) 

Bread Pakoda/ Bread fitters are ready to serve & eat!!!
