Instant Paddu | Gundponglu South Indian Breakfast
Recipe: Instant Gundponglu / Paddu - Karnataka Style
Ingredients:
1) Dosa Batter (homemade or store bought)
2) Onion chopped - 2nos
3) Green chilli crushed/chopped - 5-6 nos
4) Freshly grated coconut - 1 cup
5) Coriander leaves - chopped 1 Cup
6) Curry leaves - a handful
7) Salt to taste
Preparation Method:
1) Take a bowl and add the dosa batter to it.
2) Now add chopped onions, crushed/chopped green chilli, grated coconut, curry leaves, coriander leaves and mix it well.
3) Add salt as required and mix it well again.
4) Heat the Paddu maker (pan) and brush it with few drops of oil.
5) Once the pan is heated, pour the batter in each of the moulds with a large spoon (As shown in my video)
6) Then add few drops of oil around each of the mould.
7) Close a lid and let it cook for 3-5 min.
8) Keep checking in between if it's cooked. Use a stick or fork to turn the paddu and cook it on the other side as well.
9) Once it turns golden brown, the paddu are ready to be taken off the gas.
10) Transfer each paddu to a plate & serve with chutney of your choice.
Instant Gundponglu / Paddu - Karnataka style is ready to serve & eat!!
