Aloo Paratha / Aloo ke paranthe - Indian bread

Recipe: Aloo Paratha /Aloo ke paranthe / potato wheat flatbread 

Ingredients:

1) Aloo/Potato - large boiled

2) Coriander leaves (optional) 

3) Garam Masala 

4) Jeera Powder

5) Dhaniya powder

6) Red Chili powder

7) Turmeric powder 

8) Wheat flour - qty as required. 

9) Salt, Water & Oil

10) Butter 


Preparation Method:

1) Kneed the whear flour in a bowl with water, oil & salt. Keep it aside for 30 min to rest (just like the regular chapati /roti dough) 

2) Next wash, peel the potatoes and boil them. 

3) Take a bowl, add boiled potatoes & all the spices- red chilli, dhaniya, jeera powder, turmeric, garam masala & salt. 


4) Mix it well and add coriander leaves (optional). 


5) Take a big ball of dough and roll it to make a small circle, make 2 of such circles. 


6) Add the Filling to one of the circles and cover it with the other circle nicely and bind the edges well. 

*This method makes the paratha layered and puffs well. 


7) Next, roll the dough with filling gently and cook it on a hot tawa with Butter. 


8) Serve with Curd or Lime pickle. 

Aloo Paratha is ready to Serve & Eat.
