Lachha Paratha - In Whole wheat Atta
Recipe: Laccha Paratha
1) Wheat Flour - 2 bowl
2) Oil
3) Ghee
4) Water
5) Salt to taste
Method of Preparation:
1) Mix the wheat flour with salt and water and knead to a soft dough (softer than a regular chapati/roti dough)
2) Add 2 spoons of oil once the dough is ready and knead it again to coat it with oil. (As shown in my video)
3) Follow the procedure to knead the dough, punching is important.(As shown in my video)
4) Coat with one spoon ghee, cover with a wet cloth and leave it to rest for 20min.
5) Now take a large portion of the dough and roll it into a thick layer.
6) Next, grease with ghee (As shown in my video) and little flour over the rolled chapathi.
7) Start folding the rolled dough back and forth (to create the laccha) until it is completely folded (kindly follow my video)
8) Fold it again into a ball and keep it under a wet cloth for 15min
9) Then roll it again, kepe dusting some flour on it. Now you can observe the layers slightly (lachhe as shown in my video)
10) Cook on hot tawa with oil.
11) You can find the perfect lacchas when the paratha is getting cooked both the side.
Note:
- In this 2 bowl measure wheat flour you can make around 10 parathas
- You can serve the Laccha Paratha with any gravy sabji. I have prepared Aloo Gobhi along with this.
Garam Garam Laccha paratha is ready to Serve & Eat.
