Chilli Paneer in Manchurian Sauce/Gravy
Recipe: Chilli Paneer in Manchurian Sauce - Oriental Cusine / Main Course.
Ingredients:
1) Paneer 200gms
2) Onion - chopped 2 bowls
3) Capsicum - chopped & Diced 1 bowl each
4) Corn Flour - 2tbsp
5) Pepper powder - 1tsp
6) Ginger Garlic paste - 1tsp
7) Chilli + garlic - Crushed or paste - 2tbsp
8) Soya Sauce - 1tbsp
9) Red chili sauce - 1tbsp
10) Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp approx.
11) Chili vinegar - 1tbsp
12) Spring onions/coriendar for garnish
13) Water
14) Salt to taste
15) Oil
Preparation Method:
1) In a bowl or plate, add ginger garlic paste, soya sauce, salt, pepper and mix it.
2) Then, add paneer cubes and gently coat them with this mixture.
3) Now, add cornflour and coat the paneer nicely.
4) Take a pan or kadai, heat few spoons of oil for shallow frying the coated paneer. ( As per your qty)
5) Drop in the coated paneer cubes and fry for a minute on high flame, when they turns slightly brown take them out and place them on to a paper for oil to drain, set it aside.
6) Next, heat oil in a kadai
7) Add Garlic + chilli paste & onions and fry them well.
8) Add the diced capsicum and fry well.
9) Once you see the onions turning slightly brown and the capsicum has cooked, add the sauces - Soya sauce, Vinegar, Red chili sauce, Tomato sauce & salt and mix well.
* Kindly note: The measurement of these sauces are as per choice of spice, tanginess & sweetness.
10) Now Add 2 cups of water into it and let it boil well. Here you can observe that the sauce thickens, which is important. Turn off the gas.
Tip: If your sauce is wattery add 2tsp of corn flour diluted in water.
11) The Gravy is now ready, add the paneer cubes into it and mix it.
12) Garnish with Spring onions or Coriander leaves and serve Hot with Noodles or Rice.
Chilli Paneer in Manchurian Sauce is ready to serve & eat!
