Mango Burfi
Recipe: Mango Burfi
1) Fresh Mango - 4no's
2) Corn flour - 1 cup
3) Sugar - 1cup
4) Dry coconut powder - 2 cups
5) Ghee - 2 tbsp
6) Kaju, Badam, Pista - Crushed for garnish
7) Elaichi powder- 2 spoon (optional)
Preparation Method:
1) Peel off the skin of the mangoes and squeeze out the pulp from it into a bowl.
2) Now Blend the pulp, Sugar & corn flour together to make a thick smooth paste.
3) Take a pan and roast the dry coconut for few minutes untill you get the fragrance of it.
4) Once it's done, transfer it to a bowl and keep aside.
5) Grease a plate with ghee and keep it aside.
6) Now add the mango pulp mix into the pan and keep stirring it continuously. (As shown in my video)
7) Wait till the pulp thickens and the quantity reduces (As shown in my video)
8) Now you can add the roasted dry coconut into it and mix well.
9) You can add elaichi power for flavour (optional).
10) Once you feel the mixture is separating from the edges of the pan, take it off the gas.
11) Transfer it to the greased plate and pat it a few times to even it out. Then, garnish with crushed kaju badam and pista.
12) Next, keep it in the refrigerator to set for 30 minutes.
13) After 30 minutes, cut into pieces and again refrigerate for 15 minutes.
14) Now you can take out the pieces and arrange it in a plate of your choice.
Mango Burfi is ready to Serve & Eat.
