Golden Fried Babycorn
Recipe: Golden Fried Babycorn
Ingredients:
1) Babycorn - 400gms
2) Gram flour/besan - 4tbsp
3) Rice flour - 3tbsp
4) Corn flour - 2tbsp
5) Turmeric powder - 1 spoon
6) Red chilli powder - 2 spoon
7) Dhaniya powder - 1 spoon
8) Pepper powder- 1spoon
9) Jeera powder - 1spoon
10) Oil
11) Water
12) Salt to taste
13) Coriander leaves
14) Ginger garlic paste
15) Sping onion greens *optional
Preparation Method:
1) Wash & clean the babycorn in water and dry it on a towel or kitchen cloth and keep aside.
2) Take a Bowl and add gram flour/besan, Rice flour, corn flour, red chilli powder, turmeric, dhaniya powder, pepper powder, jeera powder, oil & Salt.
3) Mix all the spices well along with water to make a thick batter.
4) Whisk it well to remove any lumps in between. Keep adding water as required.(Shown in my video)
5) Now add the ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves to this batter and mix it.
6) Heat oil in a kadai to deep fry the Babycorn.
7) Now dip the Babycorn into the batter (As shown in my video) and deep fry in the oil.
8) Remove once it turns golden in colour.
9) Garnish with spring onion greens (optional) and serve with Chilli sauce or tomato ketchup.
The crispy Golden Fried Babycorn is ready to Serve & Eat!!
